A Question And An Answer

November 3rd, 2006 by Justin

I bet they have done it with six of the same womeng the the Wall Street Journal today, NBC is conflicted about what to do with Aaron Sorkin’s Studio 60. Although its ratings are rather paltry, the consumers they do attract are affluent liberals that advertisers like almost as much as the children of affluent liberals.

Justin Young, a local with no knowledge of the situation, says the Peacock should keep the show. Hell, if the New York Times can thrive on the Audi driving, public radio tote bag carrying Harper’s subscriber demo I don’t see why the prince of liberal banter can’t keep his show on the air. By the way, I am going to go ahead and take this as a bellwether for the midterm elections, if democrats can barely keep this show on the air while Friday Night Lights continues to do well, there is no way they’re taking the House or Senate.

You heard it* here first.

I am going to throw a fit if another good show gets taken off the air just because America isn’t bright enough to enjoy it.
“Studio 60,” get ready to experience arrested development …

Ummmm Graf, as much as Arrested Development was cut down prematurely it did get 3 seasons. Studio 60 will be lucky if it gets to Sports Night standards.

    Details, details.
I must say as well … “Heros” just might be a better show and that is why “Studio 60″ is losing so many viewers after it.
Who knows … I’m not a good target for advertisers, what with paying off student loans and all …
