‘Tattletaling’ Actually Used In A Serious Media Headline
September 26th, 2006 by Justin
Ever see the Mr. Show with Bob and David skit about the Peterson Family Newscast? The joke is the fusion of all the lame news conventions with familial sniping and the kind of contempt that only over familiarity can create.
No? Okay, just wondering.
Anyhow, enter the Fox News DC bureau, where on-air frightener of children Brit Hume and his wife Kim are reportedly bickering so much that Kimmy felt the need to leave. On top of that, both were apparently calling Fox News BMOC Roger Ailes to “tattletale” on each other.
Quite honestly, I don’t know why Brit wanted his wife around in the first place; my vision of Fox is a 24-7 old guy party. How are you supposed to ‘loofa’ the shit out of your intern when you have your dumb old wife cockblocking the day away? Remember, those foxy FNC gals are fair and balanced, meaning white and adept at positioning themselves on the edge of the desk.
