This is just one of those days when you really kind of feel like the weekend news is enough to tide you over until Tuesday, right? I mean like really hold you over. Because the pickens are slim otherwise. Like “Work Makes Freedom” skinny.

• Oprah starts her own channel on XM Satellite Radio. Writer finds it a convenient time to tack on another random story about a lunatic who wants her to be president.
• The Superdome will reopen tonight with up to 56% less rape than when they closed it.
