When you can just post random bullshit.
Now normally sites like Aint It Cool News are relatively selective when it comes to speculation and rumor. They held back on blowing up about the Dark Knight (which for you mouth breathers is the name of the new [pushes up glasses] Batman sequel) castings until the studio announced them for instance. Considering the sheer amount of sillypants prattle that must come through their inboxes, not a lot that hasn’t been confirmed ends up on the page. But then every once and a while there’s this:

Longtime reader, here with a scoop I picked up on through friends of this new show’s lead actor. Apparently, HBO has been developing a new series called ‘The Centurion’. It takes place in Rome during the height of the empire. The interesting thing is that the story focuses on the idea that aliens regularly visited and encouraged the civilization there. From what I know, the contracts are all being signed now and the show is practically a go for shooting the end of this year into next, for a fall release. You can call me thedefiantone!
This despite the fact that HBO already has a low-rated (but excellent) show called Rome and have a show coming down the pipe (John From Cincinnati) which may or may not deal with alien interaction. Now this would be really cool if it were true, but so would having a dick I could use as a lasso.
