Welcome to the future folks. A bold new vision in Media Bitchfestery, no longer are we to be slaves to the old oppressive design, let alone the virtual holocaust that was the first incarnation. Nay, gentle readers, now you can enjoy all of the insightful wisecrackery in crisp, clean, HD-ready, nu design. Don’t panic, all of your favorite MBF features won’t be going anywhere. Sports Reporter Rachel Oppenheimer and the snarky comments of Kati Rivers (watch out gents, she’s single) will continue to be interwoven into the fabric of this lovely blog. And really what would Media Bitchfest be without Nora Fores chiming in? Or Cousin Jon? Or Other Person I Don’t Know?

In fact, we are even going to have some new additions. Those Syracuse folk who remember the illustrative stylings of former Daily Orange Art Director (and living legend) Matthew Finley will once again enjoy his pen and pencilry. Yes, you read right, new Finley illustrations will grace this very home page once a week. We’re thinking Tuesdays.

As you can see not everything is finished yet and I’ll be honest, I have no idea how to operate this crazy interface. It’s nutsack back here, for reals. But everything will come together, I swearilry. That one was a reach.
