Gigantic Monkeys Call King Kong “Unrealistic”

December 28th, 2005 by Bitchfest

Sure there is a story in these Israeli Moosad agents lighting into Munich for inaccuracies but there is just something about how this article is framed that really bugs us. Our main beef? It only lightly treads on the fact that it is a FICTIONAL MOVIE.

It stars the new James Bond and the Hulk as world class jewsnoops and features Geoffrey Rush playing someone other then a complete fucking lunatic, obviously liberties were taken for dramatic effect.

Now should this have been framed in the sense that Spielberg has been meticulous in his research of other films (i.e. 2-3 wayward aliens do favor Reece’s Pieces over M&Ms) and this is an aberration, then we would have no problem.

Well, it is a slow news day, so we probably would.

[…] Right… well MBF takes the same stance on this that we did with Steve Spielberg’s Munich last year. It is fiction based on real life, the movie stars a New Kid On The Block as a heroic CIA agent. Someone had to study for the role of Sandy fucking Berger, give it up. It is silly to believe that in a summer, George W. Bush did as much to neglect the terrorist threat as Clinton did in 8 years, I’m sorry; you would need a time machine to be that destructive. Or at least pull the same trick that Bill and Ted used to do where they would say that after everything was over they would go back into the past and change things so they would be done in the present by them just thinking of it. Or something. […]
