They really hate becoming the news…

November 11th, 2005 by Bitchfest

How creepy are Judy Miller and New York Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr. when you actually let them talk, rather than their usual open weeping into 4,000-word editor’s notes about how they’re still learning from their mistakes while the aspens turn in clusters and their newspaper falls apart at the seams?

Check out these TV interviews, and start awarding yourself MBF points for cleverly sexualized applications of the word “entanglement.” And remember, if Judy could do it all over again, she would do “not very much” differently. Except for that whole “40-day tsunami” thing. What? Oh, she means Maureen Dowd.

“Let’s separate two elements that I think have become much too entangled — the weapons of mass destruction coverage … and the Valerie Plame case.”

Zing! Score one for Art.
