Just when Pat Robertson was starting to really sizzle, he goes and tells the faithful viewers of the 700 Club that he was “misinterpreted.” Robertson noted that although he DID call for Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to be taken out by American special forces, there are several definitions for the term, including a good old fashioned kidnapping. We at Media Bitchfest could not agree more, “take him out” could have also been an inside joke between the two noted Franz Ferdinan fans or a simple plea for someone to bring Chavez to another professional baseball game as per his previous 7th inning request.
Of course, he could have always just ask Chavez himself to bring them out.
